Carla's hat choice on Coronation Street sparks huge fan debate

Carla Connor is usually quite the fashion icon, a real Queen of the Cobbles. However, she had some questionable style on Wednesday night...
Sitting in the Bistro whilst talking to a client, Carla could be seen wearing a black hat. Indoors. And, not everyone is a fan of said hat. But, is it really that bad?
Carla's client meeting goes wrong
Lisa was left on edge when she found out that Carla was meeting a handsome client in the Bistro on Coronation Street. She then parked herself on a nearby table to keep an eye on her new girlfriend.
Carla's male client then started to ask about her love life, holding her hands and being desperate for all of the goss.
When Carla got up to take a phone call, Lisa swooped in and told the guy to back off. Or, she'd report him for sexual harassment.
Carla caught Lisa talking to him and was livid, apologising for Lisa's jealousy whilst also confirming that her client was actually happily married to a man.
Back at Carla's flat, things were made right between the couple as Carla promised not to keep their relationship a secret anymore. This came after Lisa accused her of being in denial about her sexuality.
Coronation Street fans torn over Carla Connor's hat
Throughout these scenes, Carla could be seen wearing a hat. But, fans of the soap have been left torn over whether it's a huge slay or a big no no.
One fan said: "Carla Connor in a hat - defender society."
Another fan also agreed: "I thought the hat was cute from the very start."
A third person wrote: "Carla Connor is one of about three women who could pull off that hat BTW. The woman she is."
Others weren't as keen, with one person commenting on X: "I still find that hat repulsive in the extreme."
"Peculiar indoor hat on Carla," said another. A final person also shared: "Loathe Carla's hat."
