Coronation Street: 3 burning questions we have about DS Lisa Swain

DS Lisa Swain has become a huge fan favourite on Coronation Street, known for her strength and determination to solve a crime, her memorable phrases, and for being a gay icon.

But, despite all of this, we've still got a few questions about her character as we beg to know more about her life.

Coronation Street: Does DS Lisa Swain actually have a cat?

Betsy Swain - Lisa's daughter - told Carla a few months back that Lisa cared more about the cat than her. Betsy MAY have been joking, but this seemingly insignificant line has been living in our heads rent free ever since.

Was Betsy just making a point that Lisa cares more about their non-existenet cat than her own daughter to emphasise how little her mum prioritises her? Or, do the Swains actually own a cat? We're desperate to know.

You see, Lisa Swain does not strike us as a cat person. She's always at work, giving her little time to look after a pet. And, she's always so smart in her work attire. There's never a cat hair on her clothing.

But, IF Lisa does have a cat, what is it called? What does it look like? We just want to see it with our eyes so we can believe it!

What did Becky look like?

Lisa's spoken a fair bit about her late wife Becky, telling Carla that she died on police duty during her training. She'd been hit by a car and had died, with Lisa's last words to her having been part of an argument.

With Betsy and Lisa both grieving Becky, fans did spot a picture on Lisa's desk of a woman that COULD'VE been Becky. If so, then Becky was a brunette.

We just really want to know what Becky looked like. Did she look anything like Carla? Does Lisa have a type? We're so nosey.

Has Lisa Swain moved out of her old house?

In the car scene back in May, Lisa admitted to Carla that she was preparing to move house as it held to many memories of Becky. Betsy had then taken it upon herself to dispose of Becky's old things in a skip.

More recently, we were given a small glimpse of Lisa's house as Betsy saw her bruises through their bathroom mirror after she'd jumped in to stop a mugging before getting hit by a car.

But, is this Lisa's new house? Is it her old one? Has she moved? Has she not? Where is she based at the moment? Close to Weatherfield? Far away?
