The Big Soap Quiz is an annual event on ITV that sees Team Emmerdale take on Team Coronation Street as they compete in the big quiz of the year.

This is usually presented by Stephen Mulhern but this year saw Sally Lindsay take on this role.

Who is on the Coronation Street Big Quiz team in 2024?

The Big Quiz aired on ITV this year on Monday, 23rd December. It aired for an hour from 9pm-10pm.

Jack P Shepherd was the Team Captain as usual, picking two other cast members to join him. This year, he chose Vinta Morgan and Samia Longchambon.

They took on Team Emmerdale, with Mark Charnock being their team captain. He was joined by Rebecca Sarker and Beth Cordingly.

How many wins does Team Corrie have so far?

Team Corrie has had 5 wins in total over the years. The first Big Quiz started in 2011, with Corrie taking the win.

It then returned five years later in 2016, although Emmerdale won the quiz this year.

Corrie then won in the years 2017, 2018, 2021, and 2023. On last year's winning team were Jack P Shepherd, Channique Sterling-Brown, and Tony Maudsley.

Before the episode air, the number on wins per team was 5-5.

Tonight though, Team Emmerdale won this quiz, making it 6-5 to the Yorkshire based soap. Will Corrie take back the crown next year?
